MIA

First of all, Happy New Year!

As you have probably noticed I haven’t been around as of late. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon. I just got two impacted wisdom teeth extracted yesterday so I am in sever pain right now and super loopy off of the vicodin I was given. I plan on writing a lot more in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned! I just need to recover first.

Now for a question I’ve been meaning to ask for a while: Who are you voting for in the primaries (doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican) and why? I would really like to hear your thoughts and opinions. If you aren’t in the US, do you have any idea who you would like to see as the next president of the United States?

  1. I’m supporting Barack Obama because he’s a unifying candidate that liberals and conservatives can get behind. Our country can’t afford another president that gets elected with a 51% majority.

  3. “that other guy” is no longer in the race, so i suppose it helps narrow your choices. i’m not registered democrat, but if i had to choose, i’d pick obama over clinton for both issues and character.

  5. I’m voting for Hillary because awhile back one of our nation’s Christian leaders said that voting for her is like voting for the anti-christ. That’s right, I’m voting for Satan!

  6. I’m in a late primary state, and generally don’t bother until the “real” election. Then I will support anyone who isn’t a social conservative. Most likely the Democratic candidate. And if they lose, I may move to Europe for awhile again.

  7. I’m glad to see you’re blogging again! I really really really like Barak Obama. I’m not a huge fan of Hilary because she seems a little too fake politician to me. Every time I read or watch Obama talking he just sounds really intelligent and like he actually cares about fixing some problems in our government. He seems genuine to me. Plus, I agree with pretty much all of his policies. I think he will make some actual positive changes, changes that we really need because this country isn’t working for a lot of people right now. I think other politicians will just keep things more or less the same and things will only get worse. We need someone who is progressive, not someone of the mindset, “Well this is the way we do things here in Washington.”

  8. I’m voting for McCain in the primary, his approach to economic policy will do our country a lot of good. I disagree with him on some social issues but his opponent with that hard to find mix of good economic policy and social liberalism has since dropped out and backed him (I’m referring to Giuliani).
